With both natural beaches and dense jungles, southern Thailand offers a unique natural bounty. We spend ten days here on the lush island of Koh Lanta: twice-daily yoga compliments optional scuba diving and elephant riding - or you might just want to relax and have a Thai massage or spa treatment.

This is a unique mix of yoga and adventure. We overnight on uninhabited islets, investigate the secrets of Thai cuisine as well as yoga sessions designed to develop and deepen whatever yoga practice you've achieved so far.

Day 1 - Arrivals
Meet our tour leader and yoga instructor at our beach side accommodation.

Day 2 – Yoga and relaxing
Our first yoga session is followed by a chance to relax and take in our surroundings. Koh Lanta is set in a stunning seascape of magical beaches, bright reefs, azure waters and clear, fresh sunlight. Fireflies accompany us as we finish the day with an evening yoga class.

Day 3 – Elephant jungle trek
Morning yoga before setting off for a rendezvous with our family of Indian elephants (optional). We ride into a lush rainforest of palms, orchids and teak amid the chatter of monkeys and crickets. The Thai jungle teems with life: 920 species of birds live here (Europe has 500) as well as bears, monkeys and, of course, elephants. We have the chance to explore a nearby cave system before returning for our evening yoga class on the beach.

Days 4 and 5 – Spa, massage and relax
Based on a system similar to yoga, a Thai massage is the opportunity to experience a deep physical healing. Buddhists believe giving a massage gains merit and this ancient tradition is deeply ingrained into hai culture. Our little resort also offers an array of spa treatments – today we have the opportunity to sample these wonderful gifts or to just relax and enjoy the sun.

Day 6 – Island hopping & beach camp.
An unforgettable journey to explore the virgin islands of the Andaman Sea (optional). Travelling by long tail boat we visit a succession of coral beaches before a ending the day with a yoga session and fireside dinner at our starlit camp.

Day 7 – Free day
Thailand offers world-class hospitality. Today we can kick back and relax around the pool, have a massage or sample the exquisite cuisine served by our hosts. Warm tropical air (great for opening pores) complements our two yoga classes.

Day 8 - Thai cookery course (optional)
The verve and sparkle of Thai cuisine is legendary. Ingredients include lime, ginger, bamboo, mango, garlic, coriander as well as exotic fish, shrimp and lobster pastes. Today we visit a Thai cookery school (optional) for a half-day course that reveals the intricacies of this fragrant art.

Day 9 – Optional day trip to Koh Phi Phi
Made famous by Alex Garland's book The Beach, these days Ko Phi Phi is a bustling island hub. We visit Di Caprio's beach, explore this stunning island - as well the chance to shop for last-minute souvenirs and presents.

Day 10 – Departures

Accommodation
Staying in palm-thatched bungalows, our little resort also features a swimming pool, traditional restaurant and dual yoga platforms. Each bungalow offers wireless access and its own en-suite wet room. We end each day with an unforgettable yoga class watching the sunset over the Andaman Sea.
